Culture and subculture

The culture of India includes the religious beliefs, customs, foods, traditions, languages, ceremonies, artistic expressions, values and ways of life of the people that make up more than a hundred ethnic groups living in India.

For Example:

1) The Chenchus are an aboriginal tribe from the central mountainous regions of Telangana, in India. Their traditional way of life has been based on hunting and gathering.

2) The Dravidians are native speakers of the Dravidian languages in the Indian subcontinent of South Asia. Almost all the Dravidians of India live in the south of India. The five main ethnic groups of Dravidian people in India are Kannadiga, Malayali, Tulu, Tamil and Telugu.

3) The Gond are a Dravidian ethnic group from central India, whose population is concentrated in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh and Orissa. It is worth noting that they are close to 1 million people, which is why it is considered as the main ethnic group of the center of India. It is important to emphasize that the gond are traditionally farmers and their society is strongly stratified.

clash of cultures

We Colombians are very welcoming when it comes to hospitality.

If a person from India would come to our university he would not have the biggest problems since we are very respectful people, however, he could have some cultural clashes. for example, realizing that our majority religion is Christianity and that it does not have places to practice its religion will be very difficult.

On the other hand, I do not believe that bullying is a problem, but perhaps its closed personality is not equal to the extroverted personality of some coastal people
